Steve Kettering is the Iowa State Senator from the 26th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2003.

Kettering currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Appropriations committee; the Commerce committee; the Natural Resources and Environment committee; and the State Government committee. He also serves as the ranking member on the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee. His prior political experience includes serving as a representative in the Iowa House from 1998-2002.

Kettering was re-elected in 2004 with 19,458 votes, unopposed. [1]
