Steven T. Jürvetson (born in Arizona, USA, 1967) is a Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ). He was the founding Venture Capitalist (VC) investor in Hotmail, Interwoven, and Kana. He also led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras (acquired by Ariba and Ciena, respectively) and, more recently, in Skype (acquired by eBay in September 2005).

After graduating from Dallas' St. Mark's School of Texas in 1985, Jurvetson graduated first in his class at Stanford University in 1988. He then earned an M.S. in electrical engineering and an M.B.A., also from Stanford.

Jürvetson is a son of ethnic Estonian refugees, who fled the Soviet occupation of Estonia during World War II. He plays an active role in technology ventures in Estonia, as evidenced by Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ)'s investment in Skype.
