Steven Leonard DeOssie (born November 22, 1962 in Tacoma, Washington; raised in Quincy, Massachusetts) is a former American football linebacker and long snapper. DeOssie was a standout player at Boston College, and went on to play in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants, and the New England Patriots. DeOssie was on the Giants' 1990 Super Bowl team.

Since retirement, DeOssie has been a co-host on WEEI's The Big Show since 1999, appearing mostly during the football season. He often appears with Fred Smerlas to offer analysis on Patriots games throughout the season. DeOssie is known for several things on The Big Show. He often yells at callers who disagree with him, and challenges them to use facts to back up their arguments. One of his most famous confrontations was with a habitual caller named Dakota from Braintree. DeOssie exploded into a tirade in which he bragged about the money he has made during his radio career, and also insinuated that he had sex with Dakota's mother. DeOssie is know to be a bit of a bully, and comments that in high school, he used to stuff smaller, weaker classmates into lockers. In fact, on his bio on WEEI.com, that is listed as one of his hobbies.[1] DeOssie is also known to have relationships with women who are considerably younger than he is.[citation needed] Callers often pick on him for this, saying things such as "DeOssie has to take his girlfriend to the prom."

DeOssie also hosts The Real Post Game Show, along with Pete Sheppard and Smerlas, which airs on WEEI after Patriots' games. In addition, he has been a Patriots studio analyst on WBZ-TV in Boston. DeOssie has also been known for speaking at quarterly meetings for EMC Corporation. In the past he has missed the Big Show in order to receive the larger appearance fees of EMC.
