Steve Camberling Cowper (born August 21, 1938 in Petersburg, Virginia) is an American Democratic politician who was Governor of Alaska from 1986 to 1990. He served in the Alaska House of Representatives prior to being elected governor.
Cowper has two daughters, Katherine and Grace, and a son, Wade.
