Steve is a fictional character in the American Dramedy series Ugly Betty. He is played by Stelio Savante.

Steve is a private detective hired by Bradford Meade to dig up any information about Fey Sommers, including anything that would implicate Bradford in her "death."

Steve secretly meets with Bradford at a park bench and is given a briefing on what to look for, even though he was secretly working with someone else on the side without Bradford knowing, giving a indication that the mystery woman is one step ahead of Bradford. But when Bradford found out after he thought he saw Fey's 'spirit', only to discover it was a hoax that was set up by Steve, he took care of that problem by hiring a henchman and ordered him to throw Steve into a empty tomb that was supposed to have Fey's body in it, after learning that Fey might be alive and that Steve was working for her all along.

However it was learned later on that Steve's real employer was Wilhelmina Slater. Upon escaping the casket, he would reappear, giving Wilhelmina and the mystery woman (revealed to be Alexis Meade) the phony evidence that would implicate Bradford in Sommers' death, leading to his arrest. In exchange Steve would be paid $1 million for his services.
