Stettin Palver

Stettin Palver is a fictional character, part of Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series.

He studied history at the University of Langano. He was an accomplished student of a Heliconian martial art known as "Twisting". He was initially hired by Wanda Seldon as a bodyguard to Hari Seldon on Trantor, but later became a key member of the Second Foundation after it was discovered he had mental powers. He became one of the key workers on Seldon's Plan along with Gaal Dornick, reporting directly to Seldon on its refinement.

His grandfather was Joramis Palver who was at one time invited by Hari to join the second foundation.

One of his distant descendants was Preem Palver, a First Speaker of the Second Foundation.
