Stern College for Women

Stern College for Women (SCW) is the undergraduate women's college of arts and sciences at Yeshiva University. It is located at Yeshiva University's Midtown Center in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan.
The College provides academic majors in 19 arts and sciences disciplines, all leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree. It also awards the Associate of Arts degree in Hebrew language, literature, and culture.

Stern College was established in 1954, based on a gift from the late industrialist Max Stern.
Today it serves nearly 900 students from approximately two dozen states and a similar number of foreign countries, including students registered at Sy Syms School of Business.
Due to the religious nature of Stern College, many students attend regular services at the Adereth El synagogue on 29th Street.
