It is a fairly inexpensive place to rent airplanes as well, as the starting rate is $60/hr for a two seater cessna. The airport has lots of parking spaces out in the sun or in Hangars. The Sterling Airport closes its runways in october when the [1] sterling fair is up and running at the airport. But after the weekend in October it starts to run the runways and the airport.
