Stephen Thrower (December 9, 1963 Ashton-Under-Lyne, Manchester, UK) is an English musician and author.

Formerly a member of the Occult music group Coil, Possession, Satin Chickens, Put Put, Identical and Skullflower. He also has a current music project with Ossian Brown (another former Coil member) under the name Cyclobe releasing their first two albums on the UK based record label Phantomcode.

He is a horror film expert and has published Beyond Terror: The Films of Lucio Fulci as well as working on soundtracks for Hellraiser by Clive Barker and George Barry's Death Bed. Stephen Thrower's other film activities have included apearances in the works of the director Derek Jarman, as well as working on the soundtrack to his film The Angelic Conversation.
