Stephen Skowronek

Stephen Skowronek is Pelatiah Perit Professor political and social science at Yale University. He is noted for his study of American national institutions and American political history. He received his B.A. from Oberlin College and his Ph.D. from Cornell University. He is the founding co-editor of Studies in American Political Development, a leading academic journal on American politics, and he served as President of the Politics and History Section of the American Political Science Association.
