Stephen McPhee (born June 5, 1981 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a professional footballer currently playing for Hull City as a striker.
McPhee began his career at Coventry City, but did not make a senior appearance for the Sky Blues. He has also played for St. Mirren (on loan from Coventry) and Port Vale, where he scored 39 goals in his three seasons with the club.
He joined Hull City from the Portuguese side Beira-Mar on 19 May 2005 for a fee reported at the time to be £220,000 - although the club have recently revealed that the total amount paid for the player was around double that, making McPhee the Tigers' record signing. He suffered an injury in only his fourth league appearance for Hull, and missed the rest of the 2005-06 season and the beginning of the 2006-07 season. McPhee looks set to continue his struggle with injuries, which is unfortunate given that it is widely recognised that Macca (or "Stevie Phee") had the potential to become a good goal scorer.
