Stephen Jordan (born March 6, 1982 in Warrington), is an English footballer who currently plays for Manchester City as a defender. He made his League debut on loan at Cambridge United in October 2002. His first team debut for Manchester City was on April 5, 2003 against Bolton Wanderers, coming on as a late substitute. Jordan then had to wait more than a year to make his first start for Manchester City, when he played against Norwich City in November 2004.
Jordan has since shared the left back position with Ben Thatcher.
Jordan grew up as a Manchester City fan and the first game he attended was the 5 - 1 victory over local rivals Manchester United in 1989 at Maine Road.
