Stephen Coombs

Stephen Coombs is one of Britain's leading pianists. His brilliance was marked by his winning a major prize at the National Piano Competition at age 13, his career was later launched by winning the Gold medal at the Liszt International Concourse. He studied first with Joan Slade privately, then Heather Slade-Lipkin at first privately and then at the Royal Northern College of Music (under 19s section), and finally with the infamous Gordon Green at the Royal College of Music. Stephen Coombs performs all over the globe and continues to record extensively for the Hyperion Records label.
