Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007

The Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007 or HR 3, is proposed federal legislation that would amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for human embryonic stem cell research.

The bill awaits approval in the Senate but already passed in the House, 253 - 174. If approved by the Senate, HR 3 would have to also be signed by the President.
