Stella Maris College

Stella Maris College, founded on 15 August 1947, is a women's college and a Catholic institution of higher learning in South India. It is autonomous, but affiliated to the University of Madras and is located on a campus called "The Cloisters," Cathedral Road, Chennai. The College, begun with 32 students, currently has more than 3000.
