Steinkjer FK is a Norwegian football club from the town of Steinkjer. It was founded in 1910, and in 1961/1962 the club was the second best team in Norway, only beaten by SK Brann.

Today the team plays in group 2 of the second division in Norway 2007. (third level). This season (2007), Steinkjer must play against Asker SK, Averøykameratene, Byåsen Toppfotball, Bærum SK, Hødd, Kristiansund, Levanger F.K., Lillestrøm S.K. 2, Nardo F.K., Ranheim Fotball, Stabæk I.F. 2, Strindheim Fotball and Vålerenga I.F. Fotball 2.

Guldbergaunet stadion. Record attendance through all times is 13.997 against Lyn in the Norwegian cup semi final 1970. This is an Artificial pitch, which was ready for play in May 2003.
