Stegodyphus is a genus of araneomorph spiders in the family Eresidae. The 21 species are distributed from Africa to Europe and Asia, with one species (S. manaus) found in Brazil.
At least three species are social, and several species are known to use ballooning as a method of dispersal.

The genus name is derived from Ancient Greek stegos "covered".
