Steffy Forrester

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stephanie 'Steffy' Forrester II is a fictional character in the American soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. She was played by many child actresses since her birth in 1999, but most notably by Alex Hoover from April 2005 to January 2006. Her identical twin sister, Phoebe, returned to the show in mid-2006 (now played by MacKenzie Mauzy), but there is currently no actress playing Steffy.

[edit] Character history

Steffy, named after her grandmother Stephanie (Susan Flannery), was born to Ridge (Ronn Moss) and Taylor Forrester (Hunter Tylo) on September 21, 1999, along with her sister Phoebe. However, she had been aged to 14 by 2005. She is the more sensible and less emotional of the twins.

In 2001, Ridge and Taylor took Thomas, Steffy and Phoebe to St. Thomas where they renewed their wedding vows. Later the family, along with the babysitter Catherine (Shannon Bradley), took a boat trip, and a two-year-old Steffy fell overboard during stormy weather and was presumed eaten by a shark. However, Steffy turned up weeks later at Morgan DeWitt's (Sarah Buxton) house. Morgan, an old flame of Ridge's who desperately wanted to have his child, had kidnapped her and was holding her captive. Taylor grew suspicious of Morgan and was shocked to discover Steffy in her house. As Taylor was about to take her daughter home, Morgan returned and held them both captive. Ridge eventually saved his wife and child by driving his car through Morgan's house as she was about to shoot Taylor. Morgan was committed to a psychiatric institution.

A now-18-year-old Steffy is now attending boarding school in London.
