Stefano Malinverni (born 14 May 1959) was an Italian athlete who competed mainly in the 400 metres.

He competed for Italy in the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, Soviet Union in the 4 x 400 metre relay where he won the bronze medal with his team mates Mauro Zuliani, Roberto Tozzi and Pietro Mennea.
