Steel Prophet

Steel Prophet is a power metal band from Los Angeles. It was founded in 1982 by the guitarist Steve Kachinsky, and remains active. Their current vocalist, Bruce Hall, has not appeared on any Steel Prophet release yet, though an album is due to be released in the near future.

- Former Vocalist Rick Mythiasin also plays in a project called Taraxacum (together with members of Edguy, Axel Rudi Pell, Rough Silk and Haggard) and also sung the vocals for New Eden's album Stagnant Progression
- Guitarist Steve Kachinsky and his daughter both post aat the Ultimate Metal([1]) forum.
- Bassist Vince Dennis was once shot in the lung, and was unable to play for a considerable amount of time.
- The compilation Eyes Of The Prophet, a collection of live and demo tracks from the band's history, was originally to be released only in a limited pressing of 500 vinyl copies. However, it was included with the North American release of Beware in lieu of a DVD featuring a music video from the album.
