Stealing Time was a 2003 comedy/drama involving the uniting of four friends reuniting a year after high school, each of them now dealing with their own problems. They ultimately come up with a solution: rob a bank.

The movie starts off with the four friends at book buy back day, an event at college that lets students buy and sell their textbooks. The movie shows them stealing the books they need in a smooth and elegant manner, as though they have done this many times.
The movie then picks up a year after they have graduated college. Alec, the main character, is dealing with a brain tumor. Sam is trying to help a family that is being deported to Mexico. Trevor is trying to become an actor. Casey is trying to come to terms with being an adult.
After taking a long walk one night after an impromtu convinience store robbery, Alec decides that they all must take control of their lives. His solution to their problems: rob a bank. At first his friend's are skeptical, but slowly they all join the plan and go to rob the bank.
This movie was also known as Rennie's Landing.
