STEFY is a female-fronted pop band from Orange County, California. The group, formerly known as "The Lovely", consists of Stefy Rae (vocals), Sean Meyer (guitar), Jason Gaviati (keyboard) and Andreas Brobjer (drums). Their debut album, The Orange Album, was released by Wind-up Records on August 28, 2006.
Their first single, "Chelsea", was released in June, 2006 and can be heard on the EA Sports video game 2006 FIFA World Cup. It was also featured, alongside "Fool For Love," on the soundtrack and movie John Tucker Must Die that premiered in theaters July 28. The song is also used as the theme song for Kelly Kelly's "Kelly's Exposé" segment on World Wrestling Entertainment's ECW brand. "Chelsea" was featured on the Abercrombie & Fitch in-store playlist for the month of August 2006. As of October 2006, STEFY has finished shooting their music video for their second single, "Hey School Boy".
Stefy created a contest on YouTube. To enter, fans had to submit a video of themselves dancing to the group's new single "Hey School Boy". On December 27 the final video was shown on MTV2 in the United States.
