[edit] Greek-American category?
How is he anyway American? I'm not saying he is or is not, but could someone explain it either way? I know he studied in the U.S. but this categorization implies that he is ethnically Greek-American. --Ashley Rovira 15:34, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- He was born in New York City, but raised in Europe. He may have dual citizenship, but somebody needs to find this out.Mowens35 15:55, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- Oh ok. Well, if he was born in the U.S. he would automatically have U.S. citizenship. I know he was educated in France so he might have dual-citizenship. --Ashley Rovira 16:11, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Evening Standard
I'd like to compare exactly what this Evening Standard article says with the statements in this Wikipedia article attributed to that article.
- Wikipedia: "After high school, Niarchos attended the University of Southern California Film School."
- Evening Standard: "Stavros III went to school in Hawaii and has just sat his film studies finals at the University of Southern California."
That looks fine. Any objections to this one?
- Wikipedia: "With a trust fund reportedly worth about $170 million,..."
- Evening Standard: "She recently hosted his 21st birthday party in Las Vegas. How much? Has just collected his 21st present - Pounds 170 million."
Ok. It doesn't say he has a trust fund worth about $170 million. It says that on his 21st birthday, he received a present of £170 million.
- Wikipedia: "Niarchos is perhaps best-known for dating (or being seen with) actresses Mary-Kate Olsen..."
- Evening Standard: "Now He's with Mary-Kate Olsen (who dated Stavros Niarchos III)."
That looks fine. Any objections to this one?
- Wikipedia: "...all of whom he met through his producer friend Brian Quintana."
- Evening Standard: (no mention of Brian Quintana.)
Therefore, this statement is currently not attributed correctly.
- Wikipedia: "He can also be seen opposite Kate Bosworth in her January 2005 GQ magazine spread."
- Evening Standard: "...modelling with actress Kate Bosworth..." (no mention of GQ.)
Therefore, this statement is currently not attributed correctly.
Now I will make edits to these statements to try to match what the Evening Standard article says, leaving {{fact}} tags for the un-attributed statements. Any comments? --Geniac 07:27, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- None that I can see... especially the bit about Mr. Quintana <G>. Tabercil 15:35, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
