Talk:StartCom Linux

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Propose to create StartCom Linux page for general information about StartCom Linux, whereas StartCom Enterprise Linux shall be specific for the AS (RHEL clone) distro. Another page should be StartCom MultiMedia Edition, since these are different distributions really...Need some time to create and update the pages however...

The page is empty, just a link to another page, so it can't remain. If you plan some other content, compose it first, then create the article. We don't keep placeholder or "under construction" pages here. Fan-1967 01:41, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

If we are at it, I actually intended to create an alias for linking to StartCom Enterprise Linux page, however no idea how to create it. This would be sufficient for now, until I update all of the three proposed pages. Startcom 01:43, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

You want a redirect page. I have fixed this accordingly, and left a note on your Talk page. Fan-1967 01:48, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not speedy delete for now

Please do not speedy delete this article for the next week in order to give the author, Startcom a chance to resolve the issues raised on his talk page and at WT:WPSPAM#Startcom by myself and other editors who are trying to help him. --A. B. (talk) 15:46, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] StartCom Enterprise Linux

StartCom Enterprise Linux was deleted! Various links exist in wikipedia (and sometimes notably not even created by me) to StartCom Enterprise Linux. Please undelete this page, until somebody can point out, what EXACTLY was not correct with this page!

[edit] Notability

Notability section moved from the article to the Discussion as suggested at the Discussion page of User_talk:Startcom#Merge_of_Products.
