Removed instances of obvious subjective language in the online play section. This entire section could use an objective writeup which would accurately detail the lifetime, playerbase, and game modes of online play.

[edit] Online Gameplay

I have added two paragraphs focusing around the terrific speed and flexibility of gameplay. This is what truly distinguished JK from other shooters at the time, and even from others today. The text, I believe, is not so subjective as to be an opinion, but is rather the objective recollection of an old gamer. (I played for around 5 years, so I did see the best as they fought.)

I have resisted mentioning anything to do with players on the MSN Gaming Zone as I do not think it would be illuminating.

Perhaps a section to do with the force powers, both as they are advertised and as they were actually used online, would be useful. If anyone is inclined to help, I think there should be more discussion of how the game was actually played, which is surely online. AWBridges 18:28, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Restructuring

I've restructured much of the article, moving Online Play into Gameplay, but differentiating it. I've also moved many of my earlier additions about JK's gameplay into another subset of Gameplay, where I think they most properly belong. I addition, I've added a section on both Force Powers and Weapons. I encourage editing of the language around these sections, though I imagine brief descriptions are best. - AWBridges 08:07, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Also, let's get some more pictures! Does anyone still have the game? Could they get screenshots of some interesting things? - AWBridges 08:07, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Much appreciated! Though, try to keep lists to a minimum and convert anything worthwhile into prose if possible. As for screenshots, select something that illustrates relevant points within the text. Combination 13:45, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Good point on the lists. I'll add more prose to the Force Powers and Weapons sections, around the tabulation. - AWBridges 16:45, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Darth Vader does appear in the reissue of the game

There is an Easter Egg in the Bundled version of the game that does feature Darth Vader, that is, a map that can be unlocked where the character plays Luke Skywalker on Bespin and can fight his way to a showdown against Vader in the Carbon Freeze chamber leading to the leap from the gantry (where he is caught by the Millenium Falcon and the mission ends). It's not a mission within the story of the game itself, but it is included on the original disk. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.58.73.159 (talk) 23:34, 19 December 2006 (UTC).

This isn't actually the case. The game does feature this level, but Darth Vader isn't in it. The level instead features evil versions of Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn. Someone within the MOTS community did write a mod of the level that replaced these characters with Darth Vader, but this was NOT included on the disc. For this reason, I've removed the comment about Vader appearing in the reissue. - 84.92.92.242 20:01, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
