The "Spider droid" is also in Kashyyk:Docks, and some other 'levels' (Yavin ?).
- Yes, its on Kashyyyk Docks, the Yavin Arena Level, and the Battle of Geonosis Level. -- Riffsyphon1024 16:32, Jun 26, 2005 (UTC)
Why is everyone implying that the Dark Trooper can fly so high? They move fast, but they don't fly high at all, compared to the Jet Trooper. On the Cloud City board, if you are standing on the lower level, there's no way a Dark Trooper can boost to the catwalk. A Jet Trooper can get up there with no problem at all.

[edit] Dark Troopers vs. Jet Troopers
In the original build of the game, the Dark Trooper's jet pack was significantly weaker and harder to control than the Jet Troopers'. Subsequent tweakings have greatly improved the Dark Trooper's jet pack (more power, faster recharge), but the Jet Trooper's pack is still much easier to control. Dark Troopers jump, while Jet Troopers fly. However, I love them both - they're both awesome warriors.
[edit] "Armoured"?
Why is everything written in U.K english? --Anon.
- Simply because that is how it started. Normally, one would leave it as it is, per policy, but it is also standard practice to change the spelling to a subject's nationality. As it is an American game, AFAIK, you could change it if you wish. --Maru (talk) Contribs 19:03, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] WOW!
I didn't know this page existed! I was going to make one! I love this game! It is extremely fun, and I can't wait to buy the sequel. Dragon Expert 20:39, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Grammar and Punctuation
This article could use a little cleanup in grammar and puctuation. ЄИЄЯפЇЄ 03:23, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Missions/Plot Outline?
I was just wondering if anyone was planning on adding a missions/plot outline to the page, much like the one that is on Battlefront II's entry? I haven't played the game so I don't know if it just isn't as structured as the sequel, I just figured that it may be something of relevance that someone could add.
- Most of the 2-3 sentence battle articles relating to this game will be merged. Deckiller 21:16, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
The original Battlefront didn't have much of a plot in comparison to the sequel. It simply consisted of an introduction with a video clip which would then have a page of text accompanied by a general (such as Yoda) reading said text. MafiaCapo 21:40, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lead section
The lead section is extremely long. I recommend reducing it by half. Deckiller 21:16, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I added {{cleanup}} becausem as Deckiller said, the lead section is ridiculously long. Additionally, the main article looks like it should be restructured, and glancing at the page, there may be information in the lead section not contained elsewhere in the page. I would {{sofixit, but I know nothing about the game, and so... --Awesome 10:23, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] NPOV
Throughout the entry (especially apparent in the sequel and demo sections) the articles seem biased against the retail version of Battlefront without offering sufficent sources. MafiaCapo 21:46, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] map
Wasn't there a battlefield with Jabba the Hutt in it? Bibliomaniac15 20:45, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think that was a downloadable board for xbox live. PS2 definitely didn't, but I do remember seeing that when I played it on my buddy's xbox. The board is on Battlefront II for all systems. Kafziel 20:59, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] critical response
Someone get the critical response up! I searched around and couldn't find reviews that said the demo indicated that the game was rushed. Visit this site to get reviews: [1]
[edit] A-Wings and Interceptors
The A-wing and TIE Interceptor entries on this need to be removed- they are only on Battlefront II. I would do it, but there's something about, like a 3-revert rule that I don't understand. But I think it pertains to this. LawnGnome 21:21, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that WP:3RR doesn't relate to this issue. Anyway, content removed. EVula 21:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

- My apologies - I've only played BFII. Thanks for catching it. --klaus

- so the three revert thingy doesn't apply? OK, I'll look into that a little closer, thanks. LawnGnome 00:16, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

- I don't know why it would, unless there was a prior conflict over that that I missed. The 3RR normally applies to admins who like to play god. --klaus

[edit] Glitches
what happened to the glitch section of the game?
- Glitches are not very important to the Star Wars: Battlefront article, and are not very noteworthy anyway. bibliomaniac15 22:49, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Star Wars: Battlefront for GameCube
Star Wars Battle front was not released on the Gamecube. I should know. I own one.
If there is someone from Gamecube reading this, Please make Battlefront for Gamecube. April 27, 2006
This is Gamecube here. Sorry I'm not making this game for Gamecube. Buy a PS2 or an XBox. Thanks. --12.180.165.2 15:19, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Wait a second...How am i supposed to know that you really are from Gamecube? And Gamecube is a product, not a company. You should have said, "This is Nintendo here". And if you are nintendo, why would you try to get me to buy someone elses product? I just find it a little suspicious, and you need to prove that you're from "Gamecube".
This is what I have to say about this:
StarWars:Battlefront + Gamecube = NEVER
It was sarcasm. BF will not be released for GameCube. Wooty 22:37, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Actually Star Wars Battlefront IS availible for Gamecube (I should know, I own one!) 65.92.121.177 19:26, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
Prove that you have Starwars Battlefront
If Starwars Battlefront is availible for Gamecube, someone please tell me where to get it, because I have been looking all over for one, and I can't find it. Someone PLEASE tell me, and everyone else, how. Thanks.
