[edit] About C'tan involvement in STCs

I think the reference to C'tan Void Dragon is unfounded speculation. If memory serves, the C'tan entered hibernation about 60 million years ago, whereas the STC systems were created in Dark Age of Technology and were in widespread use until 25th millenium.

"It is possible that the Dragon entering hibernation in what is currently the Noctus Labirynthis on Mars caused the shutdown of all STC systems." So this becomes impossible because the Dragon entered hibernation long before homo sapiens roamed the Earth, let alone make deals with Star Gods and designing complex manufacturing systems.

" STC systems were humanity's side of their bargain with The Dragon" Again, what bargain? I'm aware of various theories that Dragon may reside on Mars and may have influence on Adeptus Mechanicus, and while they have certain background material to support them, I don't recall any mention of a specific bargain. And if there is one, it is a remote possibility that STCs were a part of it, since they were creations of "old humans", not the Tech-Priests of Mars.

I hope someone can shed some light on this issue, or else I'm going to simply cut out the whole thing with C'tan.

Agreed. Failing to rewrite that section was a large part of the reason why my rewrite of this article stopped where it did... Cheers --Pak21 10:31, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Done and gone. If anyone would like to put that stuff back in, please cite some sources. --Xasf 16:11, 08 March 2006 (GMT+2)
