[edit] Should the possibility the Goa'uld "borrowed" the staff weapon be mentioned?

It was established in one episode that the staff is an impractical weapon. The mindset of the Ori may have just caused them to adapt it for the same reasons as the Goa'uld.

[edit] How Does a Staff Weapon Fire?

 Hey does anybody know how the staff weapon fires?I think it has

to do something with the back handgrip. Is there a trigger, button, or whatever?
