Stay Free!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Stay Free! is a magazine about the politics of culture based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded by Carrie McLaren, who previously worked at Matador Records, it tends to focus on "the perversions of media and consumer culture."

The magazine also sponsored the Illegal Art exhibition to protest the expansion of copyright law.[1]

The name was intended to reclaim the words from Stayfree maxipads.
