Static (musician)

Static (aka Aaron Danks), born in Port Hedland, Western Australia is an electronic music artist & recording label owner. Static grew up in Perth, Western Australia and is still based there.

Static has had a number of releases on 12" Vinyl, CD and MP3. In 2001, Static had his first 12" release on a United States drum & bass label "Argon Records" entitled "Android" with a remix by well-known UK artists Profound Noize (aka Stakka & Skynet) from Audio Blueprint.

In 2004, Static and Rregula formed kinematic320, an online label releasing Drum and bass and Neurofunk as MP3 from their website. The label has been Static's main outlet for releases since 2004.

"Future Dogs" was formed in 2005 with Frantik & Rufkut, DJ residents at Trafik, a Perth Drum & Bass nightclub. The group is currently working on their debut album which will include a much wider range of genres than Static is usually known for, including Hip Hop, Breaks and Ragga, as well as Drum & Bass.

Formed in 2005 with Frantik, Leviathan concentrates on the harder Techno & Heavy Metal-inspired Drum & Bass sounds, with a strong focus on "edits".
