Statenville, Georgia (Unincorporated)

Statenville is an unincorporated city located in Echols County, Georgia. Statenville is named for Capt. James W. Staten, who built the first store in the town. Statenville was previously known as Troublesome.[1] The city is the county seat of Echols County.
