State of Emergency 2 is the sequel to State of Emergency. The game was released in February 2006, four years after the first game came out. The game is currently available on PlayStation 2 and is to be released in 2007 on the PlayStation Portable, but in a press release the company did say it will shortly follow on other consoles. [1]
It takes place ten years after the first game. It features more game modes and an enhanced SOE engine.
This game was widely panned by critics, considering it to be a major disappointment.
Note: The first "State of Emergency" game was developed by VIS Entertainment for Rockstar Games, but the series was continued by SouthPeak Interactive.
