State Line Road

State Line Road is a major north/south street in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area that runs along the Kansas/Missouri border. It connects U.S. Highway 56 in the north with Route 150 in the south. Cities along the road include Kansas City, Missouri, Kansas City, Kansas, Mission Hills, Kansas, Prairie Village, Kansas, and Leawood, Kansas.
Most northbound traffic is in Missouri, while most southbound traffic is in Kansas.

- The home and freighting office of Alexander Majors, cofounder of the Pony Express, is located at 8145 State Line Road[1]. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
- There are several schools on the Missouri side along State Line Road, such as Barstow, Pembroke Hill and Rockhurst High School.[citation needed].
- In 2001 Leawood promoted State Line Road as "The State Line Link"[2]
