Starter Box

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Starter Box opened Yuugiou (or, Yu-Gi-Oh!) to a large audience in March of 1999. It contained cards, dueling accessories, and instructions for a simplified version of Magic: The Gathering. At this point in Yu-Gi-Oh! history, foil on the cards, though named Rare, Super Rare, and Ultra Rare, meant nothing as there was the same amount of all of the cards.
