Start High School (Toledo, Ohio)

Roy C. Start High School is a public high school located in west Toledo, Ohio. Opened in 1962, it is part of the Toledo Public Schools.

In athletics, Start is known as the Spartans and sports colors of green and yellow. Start is most famous for their storied baseball team. In football, start's biggest rival is the Whitmer Panthers. This rivalry is called "The Battle of Tremainsville" since Start is located on the street and Whitmer is located right off of it less than two miles north. In 2003 this rivalry became a Toledo City League contest. Prior to 2003, this game was played the first week of the season.
