Starlight is a song recorded by the rock group Electric Light Orchestra.
The song is track six from their highly successful album Out of the Blue released in 1977. On this song Jeff Lynne attempted a sixties soul feel in the style of Al Green. The song was written in Switzerland and was inspired by the starry night sky observed by Lynne whilst in the Swiss Alps.
