Starfire Burning Upon the Ice-Veiled Throne of Ultima Thule is Bal-Sagoth's second full-length album, released in 1996 through Cacophonous Records. Starfire Burning... (as it is known amongst fans) is widely considered the first "true" Bal-Sagoth album, combining the symphonic elements, spoken word storytelling, and epic themes that the band became known for.
