Starbotton is a hamlet and civil parish in the Craven district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, by the River Wharfe in Wharfedale. Starbotton has a Quaker burial ground, but no church and a Public Drinking house, The Fox and Hounds. Footpaths lead from Starbotton in five directions, (giving the star part of the name) up to the top of Buckden Pike, down the river to Kettlewell, up the river to Buckden, over the top to Arncliffe and over to Coverdale.
