The Star Dragon Sword is a legendary sword in Konami's role playing games, Suikoden I, Suikoden II and Suikoden III.

The Star Dragon Sword is an incarnation of the Night Rune, one of the 27 True Runes. It's history and origin are unknown, although it does have the ability to talk. For a long period of time it resided in the Cave of the Past in the Lorimar area of the Scarlet Moon Empire until Viktor took claim of the Star Dragon Sword and used it to defeat Neclord. Viktor retained possession of the Star Dragon Sword until handing it off to a skilled swordsman named Edge sometime after the Dunan Unification War.

  • The sword is known as the Zodiac Sword in the Japanese version of the game, however the name was incorrectly translated as the Star Dragon Sword for NTSC and PAL versions of the game.
