Stapleford Tawney is a civil parish in the Epping Forest district of Essex, England. The population of 103 makes it the least populated parish in the district and it covers and area of 670 hectares.[1] The arithmetic population denisty is 15.4 per km2. The parish is generally between 30 and 91 m above sea level.[2]
It is bounded by the River Roding to the south and a stream that is a tributary to the river forms the main part of the western border.[2]
Electricity was first connected to the parish in 1932 and most of the parish was supplied with water by Herts. and Essex Waterworks Co. in 1949.[2]
It is the location of Stapleford Aerodrome.
