He currently works as a substitute teacher in the Rim school district, including http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rim_of_the_world_high_school The following is a passage written on the back of "My Mountain, My People: Arrowhead!"[3] "Stan Bellamy first came to the San Bernardino Mountains in the late 1940's and returned in 1953 and 1956 as a camp counselor at the then Y.M.C.A. Camp Mozumdar. When he graduated from college with a teaching degree in 1962 he looked to the mountains and hoped to someday return there to teach. His wish came true in 1966 and he began collecting as much historical material on the mountain as was available. When he retired 32 years later he decided to publish the results of his collection-hence this book. He has had three graduate from the local high school and one of the two grandchildren born in the mountains is attending the local elementary school"
