Stanislav Zhuk

Stanislav Zhuk (died November 1, 1998 in Moscow) was a figure skater who represented the Soviet Union. Competing in pairs with his wife Nina, he won three silver medals at the European Figure Skating Championships and finished sixth at the 1960 Winter Olympics. He later went on to a long career as a coach. Among the pairs he coached were Olympic gold medalists Irina Rodnina & Alexander Zaitsev and Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov.
