Stanislaus Vincent Bona

Stanislaus Vincent Bona (October 1, 1888 in Chicago, Illinois - December 1, 1867 in Green Bay, Wisconsin) was the Roman Catholic Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Green Bay from March 3, 1945, when he succeeded Bishop Paul Peter Rhode on his death as Bishop.
Bishop Bona was ordained to the Roman Catholc priesthood on November 1, 1912 for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. On December 18, 1931, he was appointed Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Island in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was ordained a Roman Catholic Bishop on February 25, 1932.
On December 2, 1944, Bishop Bona was appointed Coadjutor Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Green Bay and succeeded Bishop Rhode on March 3, 1945 upon the latter's death. Bishop Bona died in Green Bay on December 1, 1967. [1]
