Stanground

Stanground is a suburb of Peterborough, England. It is a quiet residential area located on relatively high ground overlooking The Fens, a little over a mile from the city centre, it also has a local shopping precinct, and is well connected to Peterborough by a bus service. The main street is Coneygree Road. Since 1974 it has been in Cambridgeshire but was formerly in Huntingdonshire then for a decade or so, in the combined county of Huntingdon and Peterborough.
