Standa

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Standa was an Italian supermarket chain. It had some 167 retail outlets in 1998. It was owned by Silvio Berlusconi, later prime minister, who sold it to the Coin group in 1998. In 1999, the chain was disbanded, its stores sold off or merged into other brands. The Standa trademark is now officially owned by Billa. Several supermarkets branded Standa are still operating.
