Stahleckeria was a Middle Triassic dicynodont, living about 240 million years ago. It was similar to Kannemeyeria and their kin. It is sometimes pictured as a hairy mammal-like reptile (like in the picture), or a bumpy, scaly beast. Dicynodonts are mammal-like reptiles, the opposites of cynodonts (who are very mammal-like).
