Stabat Mater (band)

Stabat Mater is a one-man funeral doom band from Finland. The band was formed in 2001 by Mikko Aspa of Deathspell Omega and Clandestine Blaze fame. Stabat Mater got underground acclaim for their 2002 split album with Worship and has since released an album per year, including one with Aspa's black metal band Deathspell Omega. The band releases their music only on vinyl.[1]
