I'm no good at subnational regions other than England and say, Nova Scotia, but if someone who knows the geography reasonably well isolate the Buddhist republic and colour it appropriately it would be much appreciated. ekrub-ntyh talk 14:28, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Removed certain countries from map

Note that I removed certain countries that were included in the first edition of this map, namely:

  • Israel
  • Syria
  • Egypt
  • Comoros
  • Georgia
  • Armenia

Because they do not openly acknowledge the existence of an official, state religion. ekrub-ntyh talk 19:06, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Malaysia

Malaysia's official religion is actually Sunni Islam -- Shia Islam is not allowed to be preached here. I have actually modified the map to reflect this, but I haven't yet figured out how to post the edited map, which is why I'm entering this information here instead. If someone knows how to do it, please do so.
