St Scholastica's College (Schols), is an independent, day and boarding, Roman Catholic school for girls in Glebe, New South Wales, Australia. The College was founded by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in 1878 on a site where Sydney's Central Railway Station now stands. To make way for the development of the station, in 1901 the college moved to its current site in Glebe Point, which was previously Toxeth Park Estate, a property owned by George Allen (built 1829). The College provides a moderately-priced Catholic-based education to girls from inner Sydney and rural New South Wales.

[edit] Mission
"St Scholastica's College is a Good Samaritan Catholic Day and Boarding school. The College strives to be an inclusive community which recognises and respects the dignity, individuality and culture of each person. We provide a learning culture which nurtures independent thinkers who are life long learners. We promote the learning culture through quality teaching and learning. Each student has the opportunity to take responsibility for her learning in a positive environment which offers an education in faith and the freedom and responsibility to learn."
