[edit] History

The school was founded by the Daughters of the Cross, (an organisation that draws its inspiration from the Blessed Marie Therese), in the late 1800s, and has continued to grow since then. It can boast very fine grounds and buildings, and it has many excellent facilities, such as fantastic ICT rooms. In 2004 it was awarded technology college status, the third stage which has recently been confirmed, and this gives it many great opportunities for development. The music video, "Driftwood" by Travis was filmed in the grounds of the school.
